i had to approach this remix with caution for two reasons: firstly, it's a song that didn't originally come with lyrics. neither did the image soundtrack version we created shortly after the game came out.

secondly, i didn't want it to sound too similar to the original OR the image soundtrack version. so i did my own spin on it, which is why i added lyrics that i felt were appropriate, and got my boy sachio to lend me his incredible vocals!!

after some weird bureaucratic red tape (don't ask) i am stoked to be able to finally share this song properly after sixteen years. i originally made this remix for the tatsunoko vs. capcom launch party at nintendo world in nyc. it's a little weird to think that this is one of the first songs i ever made for any kind of work function, and i'm happy that people who weren't able to be there can hear it now. it has a special place in my heart.
